Treibball

Treibball is a dog sport that consists of distance work/impulse control and a lot of dexterity on the part of the dog. Treibball is suitable for all dogs that enjoy working with their humans. Whether it's for fun or for competition, everyone can decide for themselves and adapt it to their dog's needs. This sport is all about mentally and physically challenging the dog and encouraging teamwork and communication with its owner. It can be started with a young dog and played until the dog is old. The level of difficulty and speed of the tasks are adapted to the respective human/dog team. The Treibball is not about meaninglessly driving balls back and forth, but about the cooperation between human and dog. It's a nice activity that's fun and strengthens bonding and basic obedience.

The description of Treibball may sound simple, but driving the dog to a ball in a targeted manner is quite challenging. It requires a bit of skill and an attentive dog. Distance and impulse control plays a major role. The dog must be able to be sent ahead, to the right and left over greater distances, and it should be stopped at any time during the drive and switched to another Ball can be sent. The result is a perfect interaction between man and dog.
